PERTAMINA CHAIN FRESH is uniquely formulated chain bar lubricant manufactured using high quality
virgin base oil and viscosity index improversfortified, with effective tackifier, lubricity, EP (anti-wear) and
anti-rust agents to maximize protection of chains, bars and sprockets for most makes of chain and chain
saws fitted with automatic oiling systems.
The formulation is especially focused on areas where wide variations of seasonal temperature are
experienced, but the preference remains to using one oil; while meeting manufacturer’s specifications.
It also meets the requirements of de-barker bearing applications.
PERTAMINA CHAIN FRESH has a very high resistance to centrifugal ‘throw off’, and an optimum viscosity
to penetrate sprockets and unique additive technology to prevent wear, corrosion, pitch and sap build
up on chains and bars
Application
- PERTAMINA CHAIN FRESH is designed for use in Saw Mills where the chainsaw and chain lubricant is required to service debarked bearing applications as well.
- Can be used in applications where an ISO VG 100 tackified slideway is required
Performance Benefits
- Designed with multi-grade characteristics, allowing for the use of one oil; both in cold winter startups where thin oil is recommended but still providing ample protection on hot summer’s days where oil film thickness is desired ensuring equipment enjoys maximum protection.
- Demulsifying, Anti-corrosive and Antiwear properties limit machinery failure, repair costs and downtime.
- The optimum viscosity characteristics allow for use in heavily loaded high-speed bearing application and gear applications where debarking forms part of the process ensuring a full film lubrication state is maintained.
- Special Tackifier lowers oil consumed significantly, reducing lubricant operating costs in total loss applications.
- Formulated with selective base oils and additives to provide competitive pricing without compromising performance and durability of chain saws and debarker bearings.
- Unlike conventional chain bar lubes, the presence of a unique viscosity modifier promotes oil flow and protective films during low ambient start up while resisting thinning under high temperature high shear conditions encountered in heavily loaded bearings and chains.

PERTAMINA SLIDE WAY 68 is a high performance slideway oil which formulated from highly refined paraffinic base oil and selected additives such as EP & antiwear additives, oxidation & corrosion inhibitor and especially friction modifier to improve the friction coefficient.
PERTAMINA SLIDE WAY 68 is used to form a stable, adhesive lubricating film that reduces friction when movement starts, lowers the initial current consumption and optimises the efficiency of the
machine tool.
PERTAMINA SLIDE WAY 68 provide good lubrication to eliminates chattering and ripples on the surface of components caused by stick slip.
